Policy

ANIMAL INTAKE POLICY:

The Humane Society of Angelina County (HSAC) only admits owner surrender intakes who have a vaccination record. Any exceptions must be approved by the supervisor on duty. Every effort must be made by agency staff to obtain owner-surrender animal veterinary records. Staff or volunteers who observe animals exhibiting any signs of illness (such as diarrhea, vomiting, sneezing, coughing, nasal discharge, etc.) should immediately notify the supervisor on duty.
